Target Users and Stakeholders

Moca Network needs a robust and comprehensive set of ecosystem players in order to build out its decentralized identity network.

Users

Users are split into two key groups:

  • End Users
    • These can be anyone that has a digital footprint —such as gamers, professionals, students, shoppers, creators, and contributors. These users knowingly (or even unknowingly) interact through AIR Kit to manage their credentials, digital assets, and participating in loyalty or rewards programs. Tapping into the Moca Network ecosystem.
  • Developers & Integrators:
    • Builders of dApps, games, platforms, and wallet solutions who integrate AIR Kit SDKs (AIR Account & AIR Credential) for authentication, credential issuance, verification, and asset management.

Stakeholders

  • $MOCA holders
    • Users and partners interacting with $MOCA participating in staking, rewards, and cross-ecosystem incentive programs. They provide governance and help ensure the value of the chain.
  • Issuers
    • Organizations authorized to issue credentials such as universities, enterprises, DAOs, protocols, brands, game publishers, community admins, and regulatory bodies.
    • They provide value to the Moca Network by providing and/or attesting to the data in the network ensuring the vision of the identity data network to take place.
  • Verifiers
    • Platforms, apps, and services requiring the use of credential such as proof of identity, access rights, achievements, or compliance (e.g., KYC for exchanges, membership verification, gating events, audits).
    • The are the key economic drivers of demand within the ecosystem bringing utility and use cases to life with the identity data.

Protocol Infrastructure Providers

  • Node Operators:
    • Organizations and individuals running full nodes on the Moca Chain to maintain network availability, data integrity, and transaction processing.
  • Validators:
    • Participants responsible for consensus, block production, and network security on Moca Chain by validating transactions and credential issuance/verification activities.
  • Storage Providers:
    • Partners offering decentralized data storage on the Moca Chain that is then used for credential payloads, encrypted documents, and proofs; ensuring redundancy, compliance, and data persistence for AIR Credential and associated modules.

Operators

  • Moca Foundation Team

    • Oversees protocol development, governance, schema standards, and core infrastructure for Moca Chain and the underlying credential protocol.
  • Moca Network Team

    • Core team responsible for developing all the underlying tech around the AIR Kit such as AIR Credential, and AIR Account modules. It also acts as the primary tech partner for the Moca Foundation as well.
  • Partners & Ecosystem Networks

    • Partner platforms, third-party networks, and communities who enable credential interoperability and integrate AIR features, leveraging shared standards for cross-app onboarding and rewards.
