For Credentials
When to Use
- When users demand proof-based access without sharing sensitive personal data (KYC, gated content, regulatory compliance).
- In ecosystems where data portability, privacy, and user autonomy are priorities (gaming, DeFi, Web3, loyalty, education).
- To unify fragmented user identities and streamline onboarding across platforms.
Not Ideal For
- Use cases that require central authority over credential storage (e.g., when data value changes very quickly) or where open, public data access is necessary.
- Extremely rapid, low-latency verification flows where decentralized checks could introduce unacceptable friction (though Moca Chain is optimized for performance).
- Situations where complex document uploads or visual/manual checks (outside ZKP-compatible claims) are essential.
