How Moca Chain Works
Moca Chain is built on the Cosmos/Tendermint (CometBFT) framework with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility based on EVMOS and integrates with its own decentralized data storage network based on BNB Greenfield.
Key Components
Moca Chain's architecture primarily comprises three interconnected components:
- EVM-Compatible Blockchain
- Moca Chain Storage Providers (MCSP)
- Identity Oracle
These elements work synergistically alongside the account & credential services powered by AIR Kit to provide secure, scalable data management and identity verification.
Integration and Operations
Moca Chain's components integrate to form a cohesive system:
- Consensus and Security: Validators use PoS to secure the network, challenge data integrity, and govern parameters.
- Token Economics: $MOCA enables governance, staking, fees (verification, gas, storage), and incentives for honest behavior.
- Cross-Chain Programmability: EVM support allows smart contracts to interact across chains, with oracles relaying identity data.
- Data Flow: Users store data via MCSPs, which sync metadata with the chain. Challenges ensure integrity, and ZKPs maintain privacy.
